By taking part in this Challange, you accept this health and wellbeing waiver.
If you are participating in the Challenges for Orange October, it is your responsibility to ensure that:
  • There is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely and move freely without obstacles or obstructions, free from furniture, equipment and other hazards – a minimum of four square metres per person
  • Any equipment is safe and in a suitable condition for the activity being performed
  • The surrounding floor space is entirely clear to remove any hazards that may increase the risk of slips, trips or falls
  • There are no distractions throughout the duration of the session
  • There is sufficient heating, lighting, ventilation and hydration
  • They have contacted their GP or Health Professional prior to engaging with this programme to confirm it is safe for them to do so, especially if they have a pre diagnosed health condition

Week 2 Challenge: Grit Games: Move with Grit

We’re on the move this week with a challenge designed to strengthen your grit. The goal? Choose a distance or set a time (20 minutes is plenty). Walk, run, skip, cycle, swim, dance or move in any way you like for that distance or for that set time. Then commit to consistently completing that movement for at least two out of the seven days in this coming week.

It’s not about speed or intensity; it’s about setting a goal that pushes you and is within your limits.

How to Participate:
  • Step 1: Pick your distance or time and your chosen movement.
  • Step 2: Commit to your challenge for at least two out of the seven days.
  • Step 3: Connect with a fellow Team Member, friend or group! Share your challenge with friends, family, or Team Members and encourage each other to stay on track. Accountability makes all the difference!
Why This Challenge?
We are designed to move. Building grit is all about consistency. Sticking to a goal, no matter how simple, builds the grit you need to tackle bigger challenges ahead. Set a movement challenge that you know you can hit for at least two out of the seven days.
