Society has fundamentally changed in the last 20 years. 50% of married women are working. There has been a massive shift around equality of women both in the workplace and society, which will continue until parity in areas like equal pay are achieved.

What has all of this meant for men? Their roles in society have been changing and yet, who has supported men through this change? How do we create a thriving society for future generations where we are all working together and an increase in women’s rights does not result in the erosion of masculinity?

Carole Ann Clarke from I Am Here will talk with Natasha Jones, Founder of Effective Law, and author of ‘Mandemic,’ a book dedicated to masculinity in a bid to help men create healthy habits to improve and maintain mental health and wellbeing.

Sean Aherne from GFG Alliance winner of the global Shine award and Men’s mental health advocate will join us from Australia to talk about his work to encourage more men to talk about their mental health and wellbeing.

We will discuss the main changes in modern society and the impact that this has had on men. We will also discuss how we can support men through this chaotic time. How creating new habits around wellbeing will impact their quality of life. We will talk about ways in which we can empower men with courage, confidence, and skills to support each other during tough times and how to provide an environment where it’s ok not to feel ok; and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help.

While this webinar is focusing on men’s mental health and wellbeing, we welcome partners, employees, siblings and family members. Collective societal understanding is key to creating a positive and compassionate world.
